A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also worn them enough now that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.

How does the sizing run?
I found them to fit true to size, at least for me.
Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
How comfy are golden goose sneaker they?
They required minimal break-in time..
How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the structure feels strong. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
These are the best sneakers I own. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They include a built-in arch bump that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the glitter on mine? Next-level.
Are they worth it?
Absolutely! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you find a style that suits you. I chose a loud pair, but a low-key version would also be smart.
